Day 1: Embarkation, welcome drink and program briefing in Kos harbour. Opportunity to see Asclepeion, Castle or the Museum (all open until 14:30), after lunch on board, Choice of swimming in the warm waters of Empros thermal baths on the south coast Overnight stay in Kos harbour.






Day 2: Cruise to Nisyros is perfectly round, about 8km wide and rocky. Around the coast there are inlets with sandy beaches, mainly to be found on the north eastern side of Nisyros. The island is a volcanic island - but don't worry even though still active there hasn't been any eruptive activity since 1988! (And that was a steam explosion!) While visiting here you should try Soumada, which is a locally produced non alcoholic almond flavoured drink!

Day 3: Cruise to Tilos is a naturally beautiful and tranquil Island, famous for once providing its own coinage and perfumes. On the east side of the island you can moor in Ormos Livadi. During the meltemi which runs from June to October, a large swell can enter the bay. Ashore there are a number of taverns and also basic amenities available.






Day 4: Cruise to Chalki. A small island west of Rhodes, Chalki (or Halki as it is known locally) has a pontoon for visiting yachts in a bay on the south coast and an anchorage on the north east. The village of Embryos has provisions, all provided from ferries out of Rhodes, taverns and cafe's. It is an attractive village after recent renovations, and the island is only just beginning to prosper through tourism after some difficult years. Chalki is a great contrast to its much larger neighbour Rhodes.

Day 5: Cruise to Symi, with a break for swimming and lunch prior to entering the harbour. In the afternoon there will be an opportunity for sightseeing along the sea front adorned with 19th century neo-Classical buildings and the interior of the town. Those interested may visit the Panormitis Monastery situated in the south of the island. For those who like walking the island offers pleasant roads and byways.






Day 6: Cruise to Rhodes visit the walled old town with its numerous shops and streets dating to the Crusader era. Following dinner on board, opportunity to experience the colourful night life of Rhodes Overnight stay in the harbour.


Day 7: Suggested morning sightseeing, near the harbour, may include the Archaeological Museum and the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of St. John. Suggestions for the afternoon include a visit to the colourful village of Lindos and Valley of the Butterflies, both accessible by rented vehicle. Overnight in Rhodes harbour.




Day 8: Disembarkation after breakfast in Rhodes.
